Understanding your insurance coverage can be quite challenging. Our goal is to assist you in maximizing your benefits. We care for patients from many different companies. Each company pays an insurance premium for specific coverage, which fits the company budget. Each plan is slightly different in its covered services, and we encourage you to become familiar with your policy exclusions and deductibles. Dr. Tomack does not paticipate in any insurance plans but does accept insurance assignment towards the fee. We are a fee for service practice, with most insurance plans accepted as co-pay.

We do have dentists on staff who do participate in most major dental insurance plans.

Patient Billing

For your convenience we accept all major Credit Cards, Cash, Checks and CareCredit®. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at (212) 685-2476 & (914) 241-0994. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance.

Our courtesy service to you includes:

1. Filing your insurance the same day as your visit with our new Electronic Claims Software.
2. Filing for a pre-estimate if you (the patient) asks us to do so.
3. Re-filing your insurance a second time within 60 days if needed.
4. Following the American Dental Association guidelines for coding procedures and filing insurance.

Our expectations of you to keep appointments:

We value your time as well as we hope you do ours. We confirm appointments 2 days in advance by phone and email as a courtesy to our patients. We ask that you call back in a timely fashion to confirm. Please call or email back by 2pm Thursday because we are closed on Friday thru Sunday. If you are running late, please call us to let us know so we can plan accordingly.
